I am passionate about helping United States immigrants and refugees learn what they need or want to know to in order to lead a fulfilling life here.   I’m equally committed to teaching native English speakers become better (and more confident) readers, writers and learners in general.  I believe the key to helping students learn is to find out how they learn best, and use this information to their advantage.

My goal for this site is to offer useful lessons and information to English language learners, educators and others who can benefit from any or all of the resources offered here.   I hope the resources contained on this site accomplish this goal.
